What this means
Section titled “What this means”If your workspace access is View, or your company role is Guest / Admin (View Only), takeoff editing is disabled.

What you can still do
Section titled “What you can still do”- Open projects, files, takeoff, and estimate for review
- Navigate pages, zoom, and inspect existing measurements
- Ask questions in Bob GPT where chat review is allowed
What you cannot do
Section titled “What you cannot do”- Draw or edit measurements
- Change scale
- Upload/replace takeoff files that require edit permission
- Change Cost Database entries (dashboard Cost Database link is hidden for non–Admin/Member)
How to get edit access
Section titled “How to get edit access”Ask a company Admin or Admin (View Only) to:
- Open Company → Team Management
- Set your role to Member (paid seat) or Admin
- For Members, grant Edit on the needed workspaces
