Compare drawing revisions
What this accomplishes
Section titled “What this accomplishes”Helps you spot changes between two drawing pages using Image or Text compare modes.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Compare feature enabled for your company
- At least two pages (or revisions) to compare
- Access to the project
Open Compare Tool from takeoff
Section titled “Open Compare Tool from takeoff”- Open Takeoff on a base page.
- Choose Image Compare or Text Compare from the takeoff navigation when available.
- Select the page to compare against if prompted.
- Use Compare Mode to switch between Image and Text.
- Select New Comparison to start another comparison.
- Use Back to return.
Path pattern: /compare-tool/{projectUUID}/{basePageUUID} (optional compare page UUID).
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”You see a side-by-side or overlay-style comparison of the selected pages and can review visual or text differences depending on mode.
Legacy compare pages
Section titled “Legacy compare pages”Some accounts may still have access to the older Compare pages flow at /compare-pages/{projectUUID}, which prepares red/blue overlay variants of two sheets.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Issue | What to try |

| Compare redirects back to takeoff | Feature may be disabled for your company. |
| Comparison stuck pending/failed | Re-run New Comparison or try again later. |
