What this accomplishes
Section titled “What this accomplishes”Builds answers from project documents so you can find specification details, sheet notes, and related information without leaving Bobyard.
BobGPT in takeoff
Section titled “BobGPT in takeoff”- Open Takeoff for the project.
- Open the BobGPT chat panel (control labeled Open BobGPT chat).
- If prompted, add or select chat files / project documents so BobGPT has a knowledge base.
- Ask a question about the current project or documents.
Empty state (edit mode): Build a project knowledge base from your documents and get quick answers with BobGPT.
View-only: Review the existing chat files or ask a question about the current project.
Project document chat
Section titled “Project document chat”Some projects also expose document Q&A at /chat/{projectUUID} with a document tree, uploads, and question input.
Bob GPT in submittals / Product Data Library
Section titled “Bob GPT in submittals / Product Data Library”Inside submittal workflows, Bob GPT can help find specs and answer questions against product documents. If history fails to load, you may see Unable to load Bob GPT history.
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”BobGPT returns an answer grounded in the documents available to the chat. If it cannot answer, it indicates that it could not find the information.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Message | What to try |
