Create and manage submittals
What this accomplishes
Section titled “What this accomplishes”Creates and tracks submittals from the Submittal Log, then builds packages in the submittal builder.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Submittal feature enabled
- Access to the project
Open the Submittal Log
Section titled “Open the Submittal Log”- From the project dashboard or logo menu, select Submittal.
- Review the Submittal Log (
/submittal/{projectUUID}), including Last Edited information.
Create submittals
Section titled “Create submittals”- Select Generate Submittal Log to create log entries from project context when available.
- Or select New Submittal to start a submittal manually.
- Open a submittal row to enter the builder (
/submittal/{projectUUID}/submittals/{submittalUUID}). - Complete the package wizard, cover page, and item markup as shown in the builder.
- Use Bob GPT actions such as finding specs with AI when available.
Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Submittals can move through:
- Draft
- In Review
- Approved
- Revise & Resubmit
- Rejected
Review options
Section titled “Review options”- Toggle Latest Versions vs All Versions
- Multi-select rows and Delete when you need to remove drafts or obsolete entries
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”The Submittal Log lists your submittals with status and edit metadata. Packages are available from the builder.
Troubleshooting
