Organize measurements
What this accomplishes
Section titled “What this accomplishes”Keeps takeoff quantities structured so Estimate rows stay clear and reviewable.
Groups and folders
Section titled “Groups and folders”- Open the measurement sidebar (Toggle Measurement Sidebar keybind if hidden).
- Create groups/folders for trades, materials, or areas.
- Select a group before drawing so new measurements inherit that group.
- Move or nest measurements as your workflow requires.
You can also import reusable structure from the Cost Database when your company maintains assemblies/items there.
Find and focus
Section titled “Find and focus”- Use Search measurements… / Search Measurement.
- Use the pages sidebar (Toggle Pages Sidebar) and Search Page to jump sheets.
- Hide items with the visibility (eye) control when you need a clearer drawing.
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”Related measurements sit together, and you can hide clutter while reviewing a sheet.
