Export a bid
What this accomplishes
Section titled “What this accomplishes”Creates an exportable bid or PDF package from the project estimate.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Estimate content exists for the project
- Edit access recommended for creating new exports
- Open Estimate for the project.
- Select Export, or from the project dashboard use Create under Export.
- You are taken to the export builder at
/estimate/{projectUUID}/export. - Configure the export template, company details, and layout options shown in the builder.
- Generate / download the export.
If your company has the newer bid creation experience enabled, the full-page bid builder is used. Otherwise you may see the legacy Export - PDF Edit dialog flow.
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”A bid/PDF export is created. The project dashboard Export section shows the export count.
- Create export from the project dashboard requires estimate items.
- A View exports link may appear on the project dashboard; if it does not open, use Estimate → Export instead.
